About MD H.-H. Woerl
As a former performance athlete, Dr. Hans-Hermann Woerl always wanted to be an orthopedist. But everything, as so often in life, was quite different. The plastic surgeon has learned his profession, as one says, from the ground up and has a truly profound background: He began his training in the Center for burn victims in the Rechts der Isar Hospital under the leadership of the renowned physician Professor Wolfgang Muehlbauer.
In this demanding medical field, Dr. Wörl has learned to treat burn victims both acutely and reconstructively. Subsequently, under the guidance of the no less recognized Professor Edgar Biemer from the Rechts der Isar Hospital, he got an additional training in the fields of microsurgery and replantation medicine, and then worked as a senior physician, the head of the division in the Bogenhausen Hospital, which specializes on correction of congenital skull, face and hand malformations.
All this being a wealth of experience, these specializations are the best prerequisite for the work of a plastic surgeon in aesthetic medicine. Dr. Woerl now enjoys more than 25 years of professional experience and in the year 2002 has established a beautiful private practice in Isarau near Munich. Its spectrum of services includes all interventions that affect the face: from the classic face lift to minilift, middle face and neck lift, forehead lifting, eyebrow and eyelid surgery to treatments with Botox and fillers. The range of intervention for the body includes breast surgery, as well as abdominoplasty, liposuction, hand surgery and microsurgery, treatment of varicose veins and spider veins. In 2004 Dr. Woerl also received from the State Medical Association the right to perform further education in the subject of "Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery" due to the high number and wide range of his interventions – which is a great honor!
