Welcome to the modern orthopedics clinic KnieWeh, represented in two Austrian cities: Vienna and Tulln. Each year, Dr. Thomas Mullner and his team perform about 2 000 joint operations. A special area of specialization of the clinic is the diagnosis and treatment of sports injuries, knee joint replacement as well as rehabilitation for athletes.
Head of the clinic Dr. Thomas Muller controls the entire process from diagnosis to the completion of treatment and is always ready to answer all your questions.
During conservative or surgical treatment we take into account the individual characteristics of each our patient. As part of an extensive and thorough diagnostics we make out an individual plan for elimination of the joint problem. Interdisciplinary and scientific approach makes it possible to promptly identify the problem, fix it or suspend the dynamics of the disease. To assess the state of the joints we employ the whole scope of methods: MRI, X-ray studies, ultrasound, digital computed tomography. In addition, we carry out diagnosis of soft tissue and cartilage, synovial membrane, articular bags, joint cavity and other structures. Modern laboratory examinations allow us to determine the cause of swelling, identify the reason for the growth of osteophytes or microcracks articular surfaces.
