The new CAD/CAM TECHNOLOGY enables dentists to construct and manufacture individualized dental ceramic restorations by themselves using computer-aided technology. Intraoral cameras replace the tedious taking of impressions and precise milling devices create scaffolds made of white zirconium. Calcium disilicate ceramics and white zirconium scaffolds replace the metal constructions used earlier, these meeting the same requirements of long-term stability, but making an enormous contribution to the aesthetic aspect.
