Creating an individual therapy plan is the goal of the expert team. Here, the possibilities of conservative therapy are purposefully used to avoid surgery if possible. As a special conservative inpatient procedure, the Multimodal Pain Therapy (MMST) is used, on the basis of a thorough evaluation of the spinal disease by the individual specialists, a comprehensive individual treatment plan is created, conducted and evaluated.
As part of this inpatient treatment, a systemic and local pain therapy is combined with physical, physiotherapeutic, occupational therapy and psychotherapeutic measures. The multimodal pain therapy leads to an individual and specific therapy recommendation for outpatient treatment.
If a conservative therapy due to the disease does not make sense or has not produced any desired success, a wide range of state-of-the-art surgical procedures is available. Through regular case discussions of the specialists, the optimal surgical therapy for the individual patient is identified.
