About MD D. Hager

I offer you 20 years of experience in hand surgery and microsurgery as an elective doctor. I refined my knowledge with specialists from all over the world and allowed my operational skills to grow steadily in more than 7,000 surgeries.

In the precision mechanic workshop of my father, I was allowed as Students make my first experiences using tools of all kinds. Then, at the age of fifteen, I came to a meeting that was very important to me: I discovered fascination with the anatomical drawings of Master da Vinci.

From then on I knew where my professional path will take me.

Specialist training at the accident surgery in the AKH Linz.
Numerous internships in Germany, Italy, England, Scotland and, above all, in the USA (Mayo-clinic) expanded my hand-surgical spectrum.
Diploma in Hand Surgery of the Austrian Medical Association.

In addition, friendships have developed, for example with Professor Lenny Bodell, one of the best hand surgeons in the USA. With him I was allowed to develop the most modern and best wrist endoprosthesis.

He came specially to my ordination opening in Linz, which I was very happy!

I pass on my experience as head of internationally attended micro and hand surgery courses.
