About University Clinic of Frankfurt
We are pleased to welcome you to Frankfurt’s University Hospital. The close link to science – research is carried out by the Hospital and Faculty of Medicine’s 20 research institutes – ensures that even the most recent scientific findings are quickly integrated into therapeutic practice. Around 4,000 employees (doctors, nurses and other staff) take care of our patients around the clock.
Our clinic was established 1914 an is part of the Goethe University Frankfurt. The total area: 433,200 square meters (without Orthopaedic University Hospital Friedrichsheim). Annually 49,217 patients are treated on the inpatient basis, and 228 564 on the outpatient basis. There are more than 4,590 Employees (full-time employees) working at our clinic.
Our 32 specialty clinics and clinic theoretical institutes attach the utmost importance to providing the best possible medical care for our patients.
Through intensive cooperation with hospitals of different care levels of the metropolitan area, we provide the maximum medical care for the metropolitan region Frankfurt Rhein-Main.
