About PD H. Gollwitzer
Prof. Dr. med. Gollwitzer is a specialist in hip and knee replacement surgery, revision and exchange arthroplasty of hip and knee as well as the entire spectrum of modern joint-preserving hip surgeries.
His activity focuses on the hip arthroscopy (keyhole surgery of the hip), the minimally invasive and muscle sparing hip replacement, as well as partial and complete replacement of the knee joint.
Through his many years of activity in the University Clinic, Prof. Dr. Gollwitzer has an immense amount of experience in complex in complex joint replacement, in dysplasia and malalignment, correction of deformities, as well as in the treatment of prosthetic loosening.
Prof. Dr. Gollwitzer is also Head of the Department of joint replacement and joint-preserving hip and knee surgery at the Clinic for Orthopaedics and Sport Orthopaedics at the Technical University of Munich.
With more than 400 publications and presentations, as well as his regular occupation as a tutor at surgery courses, Dr. Hans Gollwitzer is nationally and internationally known as an excellent clinician and lecturer in demand.
