About MD W. Nakchbandi
According to current statistics, 90 percent of adults in Germany suffer from changes in the vein area. Each year, about 30,000 people die from pulmonary embolism, which is one of the most serious risks in the treatment of varicose veins. Another unpleasant consequence can be phlebitis, thrombosis, or the so-called open leg.
A serious consequence of chronic varicose disease is overloading of the deep venous system. This can significantly delay or even jeopardize the success of the therapy.
Surgical treatment is possible with local anesthesia or general anesthesia. Our goal is a reliable venous function. We attach great importance to gentle procedures and the highest possible aesthetics. In addition to surgical procedures, such as vein removal and closure of defective venous valves (cross-sectomy), we use new minimally invasive procedures or mini-surgical methods such as laser therapy, mini-pectomy and foam sclerotherapy. Our surgical methods are based on the latest scientific developments in the world.
After outpatient surgery, the patient returns home the same day. After 24 hours, the operated leg and wound are checked. If necessary, cosmetic measures are carried out, for example, remission of the vascular network.
Before and during their stay at our center, patients receive individually selected compression stockings, which they must wear for three to six weeks after the end of their inpatient stay to ensure successful therapy.
The visualization processes that we use do not require any contrast media or other interventions, and are in line with the latest technology.
