About MD J. Graf von Finckenstein
MD von Finckenstein was born on 22.12.1954. He grew up in Paris. Therefore, he is fluent in the French language. MD von Finckenstein graduated from high school in Bonn. The medical education after the study took place in Kiel, Paris, Heidelberg and in Starnberg - Klinikum Rechts der Isar. He learned the surgical trade in the clinic Großhadern the Ludwig Maximilian University of Starnberg, where he became a specialist in surgery.
Already at that time he focused on the field of plastic reconstructive surgery.
In addition to numerous stays in the USA, in France and the Benelux countries, he again obtained from the Klinikum Großhadern in 1992 from the Medical Association the recognition for leading the area "plastic surgery".

The practice for plastic surgery in Starnberg is not a mass enterprise. It is a manageable, personally structured practice in which there is more than enough time for each individual. Advice is short term, usually within ten days. On Saturdays, appointments may be arranged according to the order principle. As a result, the stay in the waiting room is short here too. Once a patient has opted for surgery, they usually want to get through the procedure quickly and not wait months.
Flexible outpatient and inpatient surgery planning makes it possible to keep our waiting times for interventions short. Rarely has to wait longer than three weeks for an appointment.
Our inpatient operations are carried out in the hospital Starnberg. The Klinikum Starnberg is a communal hospital for basic and standard care with 300 planned beds. The main departments of internal medicine, surgery and orthopedics, gynecology / obstetrics, paediatrics / neonatology, urology and anesthesia as well as the document departments ENT, hand surgery, plastic surgery and gastroenterology are managed.
The nursing care of inpatient and outpatient operated patients is interdisciplinary and includes all disciplines of the affiliated clinic.
