About Prof. MD T. Wustrow
The doctors of our Clinic of Otorhinolaryngology have been working in their specialty for many years. They occupy leading positions in the University Hospital of Munich, where they have trained and improved professional skills of many other otolaryngologists. In addition, they have received an excellent international education and keep abreast of the latest scientific discoveries. They regularly take part in international congresses and use the latest techniques of diagnosis and treatment in their work.
It is very important for us to take into account your needs. We are always ready to devote enough time to fulfil your wishes.
In the case of emergency surgical treatment, we perform it in the ENT department of the Diakoniewerk München-Maxvorstadt/ Schwabing Hospital. There we work in close cooperation with professional and experienced anaesthesiologists (with exceptional experience in the field of pediatric anaesthesiology), operating rooms and nurses. We perform outpatient surgeries in the Iatros-Klinik hospital in Stiglmaierplatz square.
As a patient, you can be sure that you will receive both individual and comprehensive services. This means that the appointed doctor of our clinic is your attending doctor and a contact person for you, from forming a diagnosis, through treatment in the hospital and/ or surgery, to aftercare.
Professor Thomas Wustrow is a broad-minded doctor. His profession is his great passion and family tradition. His grandfather, Professor Doctor of Dental Science Paul Wustrow as Head of the Department of Dentistry (Chief Physician of the University Hospital) at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, as well as the University of Würzburg and the University of Greifswald developed work principles that are still urgent and did a lot for his patients.
His father, Prof. M.D., Doctor of Dental Science Fritz Wustrow was Head of the Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Cologne. His work with full dedication for the benefit of his patients and staff, as well as his medical work brought him inter-regional fame.
In addition, his brother, Privatdocent, M.D. Jochen Wustrow, Head of the Department of Otolaryngology at the Krankenhaus Hohenlind Hospital in Cologne, is one of the leading doctors there. This family passion for the benefit of patients for Professor Wustrow is the basis of his daily work in the treatment of ENT diseases of his patients both in the clinic and in the hospital.
