The Specialist Clinic for Orthopedics performs general rehabilitation services (healing procedures) as well as post-rehabilitation (AR), follow-up treatments (AHB) after hospital stays for the German pension insurance, statutory health insurance funds, private funds, self-payers and Beneficiaries. This can be done stationary or semi-stationary.
The clinic specializes in the conservative treatment of musculoskeletal disorders. We treat dysfunctions of joints, muscles, ligaments and tendons as a result of degenerative diseases (age-related wear), after sports injuries, after accidents or after operations (for example, joint replacement, disc diseases, vertebral body fractures).
Another treatment focus "Osteology" form diseases that cause changes in the bone and, for example, lead to osteoporosis (bone loss). Diseases of the so-called "rheumatic type" can be successfully treated with the whole-body cold chamber, among other things.
We also offer preventive (preventative) measures. This is intended to learn a specific behavior and movement in order to prevent the occurrence or progression of physical damage.
As a special feature, we provide services for "medical-vocational rehabilitation" (MBOR) for the pension insurance. We would like to support working people so that they can either be returned to their working life as quickly as possible or receive benefits for participation in working life.
In order to meet the special special requirements for the medical care of older people, this is demonstrated by our professional expertise with the expertise "Geriatrics".
The medical rehabilitation team includes the fields of orthopedics, trauma surgery, general surgery and general medicine. Numerous other additional qualifications (manual medicine / chiropractic, sports medicine, physical therapy and balneology, X-ray diagnosis skeleton, social diagnostics, social medicine, emergency medicine, natural healing) complement the professionalism of our entire rehabilitation team of certified sports teachers, physiotherapists, psychologists and psychotherapists, occupational therapists, masseurs and medical lifeguards, diet and nutrition counselors, graduate social workers and social educators, and registered nurses.
The common goals are a quick recovery of your mobility and the resumption of your usual rhythm of life with improved conditions and the avoidance of a need for care.
This can only be achieved through interdisciplinary cooperation of the specialist disciplines of the clinic. The close cooperation with the Specialist Clinic for Internal Medicine and the Specialist Clinic for Urology is a special feature. If necessary, we can provide co-supervision in these fields. Of course, there is close cooperation with other medical departments on site.
