About Lahn-Dill Clinic
The Lahn-Dill clinics are one of the largest municipal district hospitals in Hesse and one of the largest employers in the region. We offer a large range of medical services to our patients. We operate three clinic locations:
With its premises in Braunfels, Dillenburg and Wetzlar, the Lahn-Dill Clinics offers its patients top quality medical care at university level. Our quality is regularly checked by independent bodies.
The Wetzlar Clinic is the teaching hospital of the Justus-Liebig University in Gießen. The Lahn-Dill Clinics offer in Wetzlar a wide spectrum of medical services with a variety of options in diagnosis and therapy.
The Dill Clinics in Dillenburg offer the classical disciplines of anaesthesia, internal medicine and surgery. This spectrum is supplemented by various in-patient units.
A modern medical centre is directly connected to the clinic. The specialist practices in the medical centre work closely with the Dill Clinics and complete the medical care at the Dillenburg location.
The "Falkeneck" Clinic in Braunfels focuses on "medicine for the elderly". We have a large geriatric department and a corresponding day clinic. In addition, a wide range of internal medical illnesses is treated in the Medical Clinic II in Braunfels.
In addition to the diagnosis and therapy of internal pathologies in particular, the patients are supported by a multidisciplinary geriatric team in being able to return to their usual environment after treatment. The clinic for geriatrics at Falkeneck in Braunfels is the only geriatric clinic for the Lahn-Dill district.

This begins with initial contact in the out-patient department and continues throughout their stay in the Lahn-Dill Clinics until their release. It is our goal to ensure the close intermeshing of all professionals involved in the treatment process.
