Top orthopedic surgeons

Last year the weekly magazine FOCUS determined top orthopedic surgeons, dealing with back, knee, hip and shoulder disorders. About 27 800 top physicians and patients participated in this nationwide survey. The German Society of Neurosurgery (DGNC) and the German Association of Arthroscopy (AGA) supported the 6 months research of the independent FOCUS team.

Which orthopedic surgeons are the best?

When selecting the best orthopedic specialists a number of important criteria are taken into account. The expert team views medical status, scientific and clinical activities. The key criteria for evaluation of the best orthopedic surgeon are the recommendations of other experts and, of course, patient testimonials. Top orthopedic surgeons treat professional athletes from all over the world. Besides they perform or guide at least 1500 orthopedic procedures a year. Each of them implements the modern technologies (computer navigation and modern surgery planning).

We have checked the results of the nationwide surveys 2013, 2014 and 2015 against the recent GMG survey and want to present you our version of top orthopedic and spinal surgeons in Germany.
